When I first walked up to Apartament Kings Deluxe Centrum on Peowiaków Street, I’ll be honest — it’s not the flashiest building from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t need to show off. This three-star apartment hotel sits quietly in one of Lublin’s most walkable neighborhoods, and after spending a few days here, I get why it scores an 8.1 with guests.

Location & Getting Around

The location is actually brilliant if you want to experience Lublin like a local rather than just tick off tourist boxes. You’re close enough to the Old Town that you can walk there in about 15 minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds every time you step outside. There’s a small grocery store two blocks down — perfect for grabbing basics if you’re planning to use that kitchenette. The tram stop is literally around the corner, which makes getting to the castle or university district pretty effortless.

The Apartment Setup

What I really liked about my room was how it felt more like staying in someone’s well-organized city apartment than a typical hotel. The kitchenette isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you actually need — decent-sized fridge, stovetop, and enough counter space to make breakfast or heat up dinner. The living area has this comfortable couch where I ended up spending most evenings planning the next day’s wandering around town. The bedroom was simple but comfortable, with blackout curtains that actually work (trust me, this matters more than you think).

The building itself is quiet — I mean, properly quiet, not just “hotel quiet.” There’s no fancy lobby or concierge desk, but the check-in process was smooth and the staff genuinely helpful when I needed restaurant recommendations. The WiFi worked perfectly throughout my stay, which was crucial since I was working remotely for part of the trip. Parking isn’t included, but there’s street parking nearby that’s not too expensive by city standards.

Honestly, this place works because it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re getting a clean, comfortable space with the flexibility of having your own kitchen and living area, in a neighborhood where you can actually get a feel for how Lublin residents live. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — no spa treatments or fancy restaurant downstairs — but for the price point and location, it’s solid value. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer visit to explore more of eastern Poland.
