Apartment Targowa L7 sits right in the heart of Lublin’s Old Town, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better. When I first walked up to the building on Targowa Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard residential block — but that’s exactly what makes this three-star place so surprisingly good. It’s one of those spots where you get way more than you’re paying for, which explains that impressive 9.7 rating.

The apartment itself is what really sold me on this place. It’s not huge, but everything’s been thought through properly — you’ve got a proper kitchen with actual counter space (not just a hot plate shoved in a corner), and the room layout actually makes sense. I mean, you can move around without bumping into furniture every two steps, which is more than I can say for a lot of places I’ve stayed in European city centers.

Location & Getting Around

What I love about staying here is that you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from all the main sights — the castle, the old market square, those winding medieval streets that make Lublin so charming. But you’re also on a quieter residential street, so you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your window. There’s decent parking nearby too, which is honestly a relief if you’re driving (though you probably won’t need the car much once you’re settled in).

The Details That Matter

The owners clearly know what travelers actually need. The Wi-Fi works properly, the shower has good water pressure, and there are enough power outlets in sensible places. You know what really impressed me though? The apartment was spotlessly clean when I arrived, and they’d left some basic supplies in the kitchen — coffee, tea, even some local honey. Small touches, but they matter when you’re tired from traveling.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t a fancy hotel with a restaurant or spa, but that’s not what you’re here for anyway. You’re getting a proper base in one of Poland’s most underrated cities, run by people who actually care about the experience. The value is incredible — I’ve paid twice as much for half the space in other European cities. Plus, staying in an actual neighborhood gives you a much better feel for what Lublin’s really like beyond the tourist sites.
