First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Willowa on Sławinkowska Street, you immediately get the sense that this three-star property knows exactly what it’s doing. The building has that understated Polish charm — nothing flashy, but everything feels intentional and well-maintained. I mean, you’re not going to mistake this for a grand palace, but there’s something refreshingly honest about the place that puts you at ease right away. The entrance is welcoming without trying too hard, and the staff genuinely seem happy to see you arrive.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually in Lublin, not stuck in some generic hotel district on the outskirts. Sławinkowska is one of those streets where you can walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes, but you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your window. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel with local cafes and shops mixed in, so you get a real sense of the city. Couples particularly seem to appreciate this balance — close enough to explore easily, but quiet enough for those romantic evening strolls that don’t involve dodging tour groups.
The Rooms
The rooms at Hotel Willowa are what I’d call thoughtfully simple. You won’t find marble bathrooms or designer furniture, but everything works exactly as it should. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase without playing Tetris with your belongings. What struck me most was the attention to small details — good lighting for reading, proper blackout curtains, and bathrooms that feel clean and modern without being sterile. The windows are well-insulated too, which you’ll appreciate given that this is a working neighborhood.
Daily Experience
Breakfast here is honestly better than you’d expect from a three-star place. They’ve got the Polish classics covered — fresh bread, local cheeses, and proper coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since dawn. The dining area gets good morning light, and there’s usually a nice mix of business travelers and couples, so the atmosphere feels lively but not chaotic. Throughout the day, the front desk staff are genuinely helpful with recommendations — they’ll point you toward the lesser-known spots in Lublin that locals actually frequent, not just the obvious tourist attractions.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to Hotel Willowa is that it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re getting solid value in a city where accommodation can be hit-or-miss, especially in this price range. The location really is the star here — recent guests consistently rave about how easy it makes exploring Lublin, and I can see why couples rate it so highly. There’s something about the combination of being centrally located but still feeling like you’re staying somewhere with character that just works. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, start your day properly fed, and head out feeling like you’re actually experiencing the city rather than just visiting it.

Guest Reviews
Good value for money.
Location, value for money and contactless check-in/check-out
What could be improved: As mentioned by previous reviewers - carpeting in rooms needs either total cleaning or replacement. This and narrow single beds are the only downsides I can think of.
Ok
Price, location
What could be improved: Whole in the bed (worn out beds put together), leading to very uncomfortable sleep and pain of the spine.
Wonderful
Great bus connection to the city, convenience stores nearby, kettles that could be borrowed for free. Overall nice, comfortable, and clean room.
Very good value for money, good for shorter stays.
They have really good restaurant downstairs with very nice menu and very friendly staff. Good coffee too. Room was very clean. They have private parking for a few cars, too. Room was very clean.
What could be improved: It is very close to a main street and another smaller road, although they have very good acoustic windows, so when they are closed, you don’t hear a thing.
Good place to stay for a night.
Location, price, room availability, parking.
What could be improved: Children's diseases still remains: a shower head was broken.
Wonderful
Clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: Windows can't be opened.
Wonderful
Breakfast was good. Good hotel for short stays. Good restaurant next to the hotel.
Very Good
What could be improved: I didn’t find towel
had a fab stay in Lublin and must thank the Hotel Willowa for having us ❤️
lovely place, great restaurant on site.
great for transport, bus is outside the hotel.
very understanding as we requested early check in and they were so helpful.
What could be improved: pillows… I know.. small pillows could do with more. breakfast is a nightmare if your out all day as it needs to be ordered at reception between 3pm - 8pm
it’s quite far from the city.
Good
