Poezja

First Impressions

Poezja sits on a quiet street in Lublin, and honestly, the name says it all — there’s something genuinely poetic about this place. Walking up to this three-star hotel, you’re not hit with flashy signage or overwhelming grandeur, but rather a thoughtful simplicity that feels refreshing. The building has character without trying too hard, which I appreciated right away.

Location & Getting Around

Stanisława Staszica street is one of those addresses that locals know well — you’re close enough to the Old Town that you can walk there in about 10 minutes, but far enough away to avoid the tourist crowds when you want some peace. I found myself walking past small cafés and local shops that you wouldn’t stumble upon if you stayed right in the center. There’s actually decent parking nearby too, which isn’t something you can take for granted in Polish city centers.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and thoughtfully arranged — nothing fancy, but everything worked exactly as it should. The bed was comfortable (I mean, really comfortable), and the bathroom was modern enough without feeling sterile. What struck me most was the attention to small details: good lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and windows that opened properly for fresh air.

Daily Rhythms

The breakfast situation here is solid — not an overwhelming buffet, but fresh local options that change slightly day to day. I got into a nice routine of grabbing coffee downstairs before heading out to explore Lublin’s medieval streets. The staff knows the city well, so when I asked about lesser-known spots worth visiting, they pointed me toward places I never would have found otherwise. You know what I liked? They didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map — they actually took time to explain which areas were worth my time.

Why Guests Love It

Poezja works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a well-run, comfortable place that gives you exactly what you need without unnecessary frills or inflated prices. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you experience how smoothly everything operates here. For travelers who want a genuine base in Lublin rather than a hotel that could be anywhere, this place delivers that local connection you’re actually looking for.
