Studio przy Ogrodzie Saskim

First Impressions

Studio przy Ogrodzie Saskim caught my attention right away — not just because of its name referencing the Saxon Garden, but because it actually delivers on that promise. This apartment-style accommodation sits quietly on Boczna Lubomelskiej street, and honestly, the location feels like one of those local secrets you stumble upon rather than something you’d find in a typical guidebook. The building itself is unassuming, but that’s exactly what makes it charming.

The Space That Surprised Me

Walking into the studio, I was struck by how thoughtfully everything was arranged. The room flows naturally from sleeping area to living space, with a compact kitchenette that actually has everything you need — not just the bare minimum most places give you. The windows face toward the garden area, and during my stay in Lublin, I found myself spending way more time than expected just watching the light change throughout the day. It’s one of those spaces that feels bigger than it actually is.

Location and Getting Around

Here’s what I really appreciated about the location — you’re close enough to Lublin’s Old Town to walk there easily, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with weekend noise or tourist crowds right outside your window. The Saxon Garden reference in the name isn’t just marketing either; there are actually some lovely green spaces nearby where locals go for their evening walks. Parking turned out to be much easier than I expected for this part of the city, which was a relief.

The Details That Matter

What impressed me most was how the owners seemed to anticipate what travelers actually need. The Wi-Fi works properly (you know how that goes sometimes), the shower has decent water pressure, and there’s enough storage space that you can actually unpack your suitcase. The three-star rating might seem modest, but honestly, this place punches above its weight class. I mean, you’re not getting a concierge or room service, but you’re getting something better — a space that feels like a temporary home rather than just a place to crash.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.1 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s the kind of place where everything just works without any drama, and you find yourself thinking “I could actually live here for a while.” The combination of practical amenities, thoughtful design, and that genuinely pleasant location creates something special. Plus, there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that feels authentically connected to Lublin rather than just dropped into it. If you’re the type who values space to spread out and a real sense of place over hotel formalities, this studio delivers exactly that.
